About Julian

Julian was born and raised in Bogotá Colombia where he spent over two years studying graphic design, eventually moving to Buenos Aires to continue his studies. It was at a tattoo convention in Buenos Aires where Julian developed a passion for the industry and started thinking about the idea of becoming a tattoo artist. Julian returned to Colombia, finished his studies and quickly started an apprenticeship at a local tattoo shop. This is where he spent the next three years developing his skills, learning more about the tattoo industry and successfully completing his apprenticeship.

To grow and build on his experience, Julian set out to travel across many different countries where he now finds himself in Canada for the first time. Julian was drawn to Toronto because of his love for hockey and his opportunities to learn english. Now, Julian is excited to be doing what he loves and providing tattoos for clients at Black Line Studio.
